Norfund has appointed Naana Winful Fynn as Executive Vice President (EVP) for Financial Inclusion. As EVP she will also be a member of Norfund’s management team. She succeeds Erik Sandersen, who recently assumed the role of CEO.
Naana Winful Fynn has for the past nine years been Norfund鈥檚 Regional Director for West Africa, where she has led 海角原创海角视频 across one of the Norfund鈥檚 key regions, as well as the team based in Accra. She has also been a member of Norfund’s Credit Committee for the last five years. She will now take on responsibility for leading Norfund鈥檚 work on financial inclusion 海角原创海角视频, and become part of Norfund鈥檚 management team.

Financial inclusion is a core part of Norfund鈥檚 mandate, focused on increasing access to relevant and affordable financial services for individuals and businesses in developing countries.聽Norfund 海角原创海角视频 in financial institutions such as banks and non-bank financial institutions including larger microfinance entities, as well as fintech companies and other financial service providers聽to support economic growth, job creation and resilience.聽The Financial Inclusion portfolio also includes platforms聽such as聽Arise and Abler Nordic, as well as funds.
Naana is a management professional with diversified experience in international finance and corporate leadership, including roles at Goldman Sachs, Sagevest Holdings, an investment holding company; CVS Corporation and The Timberland Company. She has served as a board member of the Ghana Stock Exchange and CBI Ghana, a leading cement manufacturer, and as an investment advisory board member of the Ghana Petroleum Funds, the sovereign wealth fund of Ghana. She is also a member of the Africa Advisory Board at Harvard Business School. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Vassar College.
